Showing your pup on a show, with a little extra

Postby Racing Green » January 12th, 2011, 4:26 pm

With the oh so important display on the Bingley Show comming up quickly, is anyone going to do a little extra to his/her pup to make it stand out from the other mini's ? Having a 6ft gorilla playing a dj-set would be one way, but there's more decent ways too.

How about just print some of the pick-up cartoons as seen here on A3 size and stick it behind the rear window, for instance. Or a few of the original folders. Or have those folders copied in 200% format. etc. etc.

Or bring a portable dvd player and have a short pick-up video played over and over again. Not sure if it's allowed to show such features in public, in Belgium you would risk a fine doing that.

Might be more a thing for outdoor shows rather then the indoor display. Any other ideas ?

For Bingley I'm putting a board together with all the brochures and literature I've collected.
Mini Pick-up International is funded and run entirely by the generosity of it's users.

Huey has a laminated A4 history anyway for shows, but we also might stage a teddy bears' picnic in the back with our club mascot, a fairly large bear in a club t-shirt, and a couple of others. Depends if our stand allows a proper rear view.
I don't know much but I've forgotten a lot

Here's another way to give your pup that little extra on a show:

These 2 boardmembers have some nice details added to their stunning pups, as seen on the Brands Hatch event last weekend:

Nice show displays. Thanks for sharing. As for display ideas, how about a sign "Mini Pickup Parking Only". Is anything like that available, or has there been? I've got a couple "Mini Parking Only" signs, and one "Mini Moke Parking Only sign", for example. [have a nice day]

I have a pick-up parking only sign but it's not specific for mini pick-ups. Although the chance another pick-up would fit in my garage is pretty small.

When looking on the net it doesn't take long to find this one for 28Gbp:
